Wasted HOURS trying to get sync to work—losing transactions

Sync via iCloud was working fine on iMac and iPad. Tried to add it to laptop, and turned into a HUGE MESS. Wasted MANY INFURIATING HOURS trying to get it to sync properly and worried that I was going to lose years worth of data to some sync malfunction. Even when it finally seemed to be syncing, many random transactions (neithter the earliest nor most recent) were missing, such that the balances were not the same across devices. After deleting an reinstalling at least ten times, finally got it to work.

THIS IS SIMPLY UNACCEPTABLE THAT SYNCING VIA ICLOUD SHOULD BE SUCH A MESS.
